The abstract submission deadline for the Joint Meeting of the Western Association of Gynecologic Oncologists and the Felix Rutledge Society to be held June 11 through 14, 2008 at the Sonoma Fairmont Mission Inn and Spa in Sonoma, California, has been extended to April 11, 2008. We have a special program this year with several notable events:

• Separate robotic surgery symposia for fellows/residents and WAGO/FRS members, with Dr. Robert Holloway as the course director - Friday afternoon
• ASCO update from Dr. Robert Coleman - Thursday morning
• Physical therapy for Gyn Oncology patients by Andrea Leiserowitz, MPT - Friday morning
• WAGO Presidential speaker, Emily Wyse, "Patient Recovery, Support and Advocacy" - Friday night banquet
• Meet the fellowship program directors - special opportunity for residents interested in Gyn Oncology to interact with program directors from Western US - Friday breakfast
• Thursday afternoon/evening free for exploring the Sonoma wine country

Abstracts should be submitted electronically to the WAGO office by downloading the abstract form from the WAGO website www.wagogynonc.org and sending the completed form to the office as an email attachment to the WAGO Executive Director, Cassandra Larkins, at clarkins@acog.org by April 11, 2008. Instructions for submitting abstracts electronically are included with the form on the website. The WAGO office will send confirmation that the abstract has been received and further notice if the abstract has been selected for presentation.
